Presenting Fahrtenbuch - Travel Log. PDF Print E-mail

Known member of the community Ralf Schülke, aka Stargater, member as well of Team Maui,
presents a new application named Fahrtenbuch, which in english means Travel Book, though
a more correct translation would be Travel Log.

I must say, this app can be quite useful for everyone, especially for companies. At the bank
where I work, we have to log our travels as well, when we take the bank's cars somewhere, and
such an app would be most useful. With Fahrtenbuch you can for example create a car entry, driver
entry, audit travel logs, etc. Also, at the beginning of each year, a new log is automatically
created. You can, of course, differentiate between private and business trips.

Below you can see a screenshot of Fahrtenbuch in action, in its german version. It'll be of course,
multilanguage.

You can do almost everything with Excel, I am sure.
But on the other hand you can also do everything with the commandline, without any graphical interface.

I always prefer an application specially made for certain purposes.
And that on an OS which uses the speed of the hardware and not destroying it :D

Btw. why does windows include a calculator and an addressbook? You could do that with Excel as well...
