TV-O-Rama and DVB-T on Haiku PDF Print E-mail

Marcus Overhagen contacted ICO today with some information about his progress on getting TV-O-Rama and DVB-T running on Haiku. Haiku has gotten support for the digital tv standard that now starting up accross Europe. We are happy to announce that Haiku today has reached another important milestone, just a few days after we having shown the new default media player running. We here at ICO first reported on this back in 2004 .

This is really the work of a Mad Scientist... and here are some screenshots for your Entertainment:

Overlay is actually implemented in Haiku and working fine (as long as you don't switch the display mode). That it doesn't work for DVB-T is probably just some bug somewhere :-)

I know it works in Haiku. 
But did you try to PrnScr even in BeOS (or Ctrl PrnScrn) in Windoze with overlay running and see results?P

Oops, didn't think of that, damn ;-) 
But since the app_server knows which overlay is currently visible, we will probably change this behaviour for Haiku, anyway :)
